DJI has released a cryptic teaser for an upcoming product launch on February 18, 2025. The tagline “Focus On Every Move” hints at a stabilization-focused device, and rumors are pointing toward the highly anticipated Osmo Mobile 7 (OM 7) smartphone gimbal.

Adding to the excitement, DJI is also gearing up for another event on February 20, teasing a product with the tagline “Roll With It.” That one is rumored to be the new RS 4 Mini gimbal for professional cinematographers. With back-to-back launches in the works, and the newly-released DJI Flip drone already creating waves among users, the company appears to be kicking off 2025 with a bang.

What we know about the rumored Osmo Mobile 7

While DJI has remained tight-lipped, leaks suggest the Osmo Mobile 7 will come in two versions: a standard OM 7 and a higher-end OM 7 Pro. The standard model is expected to keep the familiar joystick controls, dedicated record and memory buttons, and a side zoom wheel. A small built-in display is also rumored, making it easier to check battery levels and connectivity at a glance.

The OM 7 Pro, rumored to cater to pro-level users, may introduce a precision focus and zoom wheel mounted on the handle. This could provide a major upgrade over the Osmo Mobile 6’s zoom control, offering smoother manual adjustments for serious content creators.

Both models are expected to feature a longer-lasting battery, with leaks suggesting up to 10 hours of use per charge.

The Osmo Mobile 6 (currently enjoying a 9% discount) set a high bar with its compact design and improved stabilization. If the leaks are accurate, the OM 7 series could take smartphone videography to the next level, offering better manual control, battery life, and an upgraded shooting experience.

With just days to go before DJI’s double-feature launch, excitement is at an all-time high. Whether you’re a casual smartphone shooter or a professional creator, these upcoming releases could be game-changers.

Mark your calendars — February 18 and 20 could be big days for DJI fans.
