The Premier League season has given us countless superb moments this season, with plenty of players really making names for themselves this term.
When it comes to goalkeepers, there are already plenty of shouts in terms of who’ll be in the running for player of the season in between the sticks.
Nottingham Forest’s Matz Sels is a good shout, as are Leicester City’s Mads Hermansen, Brentford’s Mark Flekken and Newcastle’s Martin Dubravka.
Everton’s Jordan Pickford, Crystal Palace’s Dean Henderson, Bournemouth’s Kepa Arrizabalaga, Arsenal’s David Raya and Liverpool’s Alisson have also been great this term.
Now, former England star Joe Cole has named who he thinks has been the best goalkeeper in the Premier League so far this season.

Joe Cole says Nottingham Forest’s Matz Sels is his goalkeeper of the year so far
Cole, covering the Premier League game between Nottingham Forest and Brighton & Hove Albion, loved what he saw from Sels.
Just before the half-hour mark, with Forest 2-0 up, Sels pulled off a superb save to deny Yankuba Minteh.
This prompted Cole to say: “I have Matz Sels as my goalkeeper of the year so far.
“So much is made about what keepers do for their team but that is where you make your money.
“Stopping shots is where he earns his money.”
And in the 87th minute, when Sels kept out a Matt O’Riley free kick, Cole said: “Sels looks unbeatable at times.
“That is a well-struck shot and he does well to save it.”
