Kyle Walker left Manchester City for AC Milan during the winter transfer window.

The England international had become disillusioned at the Etihad Stadium under Pep Guardiola – having lost his place in the starting XI – and consequently moved to the San Siro on loan.

It seems like a permanent goodbye – however – as AC Milan hold an option to buy the defender for just £4.2m this summer.

Therefore, Manchester City will be looking to replace Kyle Walker – and the Citizens are now said to be keen on signing Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace.

The Colombian news outlet claim that Chelsea and Barcelona are also admirers of Munoz – who Crystal Palace signed from KRC Genk for just £6.8m back in January 2024.

Chelsea fans were actually left impressed with Munoz after the recent 1-1 draw between Crystal Palace and the Blues.

Antena 2 write that the 28-year-old Colombia international is ready to leave Crystal Palace for a bigger club, and will weigh up his options once the 2024/25 campaign comes to an end.

Munoz is contracted to the Eagles until June 2027 – and is currently valued at €25m (£21m) by those at Selhurst Park.

The Crystal Palace No.12 has impressed this season, scoring two goals – including a strike against Manchester City – while also providing three assists in 23 Premier League appearances.

Crystal Palace want Bright Osayi-Samuel

The timing of Antena 2’s story is interesting, as Crystal Palace have only just been linked to another right wing-back in Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Osayi-Samuel has refused a new contract at Fenerbahce – allegedly – after holding talks with Crystal Palace at the start of January, so the Nigeria international could well arrive at Selhurst Park on a free transfer to replace Munoz this summer.

Crystal Palace also have Caleb Kporha – a talented academy graduate – as an option on that side.
